though in India many things are going wrong (not enough respect vs. woman) – the Holi festival with color rites is not bad … (not many women participating!)
the not enough respect for women aspect is true world wide… Not just in India – and of course bad news always sells… No one ever makes a breaking news out of nice things… As far as women participating in holi is concerned – I’m not very certain about that… It’s just that there aren’t too many photographs of those around. I see youngsters and children bathed in colours every year.
