The world ended a long time ago

There is a saying in Sanskrit:

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ।

Transliteration : Yatr Naaryastu Poojyante Ramante Tatr Devatah

Translation : Gods reside in those places where women are worshipped.

This post began as a slightly longish rant, fuelled by immense rage. I let it rest for a couple of days. Today, I decided to cut out the harsh bits. I leave you, dear reader, to interpret the meaning, and context in which I write this post.

I agree with the statement ” The world ended a long time ago.” The beginning is the start of the ending. However what we individually bring into the world in the time to come however close we are to the end. This is still important not just to our self but to all our fellow humans wichever nation, religion, man, woman chikld or belief the entrust. I hope with all of my heart that 2013 will bring more love, understanding, toleranse and compassion wherever we are.

Very true “यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः ” this divine holy couplet has a huge meaning inside it….it teaches us that a women is there to worship…she is such a beautiful creation of god that cannot be explained in words…she is always there for u when u r just a child she be there as a mother……when u grow she plays with u she is ur sister…when u r grown up she be your partner and then one becomes your wife and be with you for a complete life….then to make sure your family grows she becomes a mother….without them even god cannot imagine his world….Please respect them as your own mother, sister & wife….

We have completely lost touch with our spiritual culture Kasturika, what is left is just the mindless rituals. I understand your rage. I felt the same way. And sadly see no hope. How does harsh punishment help when attitudes remain the same?
